                         A LETTER FROM JERRY HODGE

New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community
"Respecting The Past Embracing The Future"

Hodge Campaign – 2015

11-13-15

Thank you - Become a Newton Advocate

I want to thank the citizens of Newton for electing me as a member of the Newton City Council. I sincerely appreciate the tireless and dedicated work of supporters during my campaign for Newton City Council!

Seven candidates, including three incumbents, vigorously, campaigned for three City Council seats. I congratulate the efforts of all council candidates, who placed themselves in the public eye, for a leadership role as an elected public servant.

The Hodge Campaign CAMPAIGNED FOR a seat on the Council; we DID NOT CAMPAIGN AGAINST the other candidates. This was a pivotal election for the future of Newton.  Support and encouragement from you made this campaign a winning effort with a leading number of 613 votes!

The election results became official on Tuesday, November 10th, with the canvassing of votes by the Board of Elections; it’s now time to respect the past and embrace the future; it’s time to respectfully work together to restore Newton as a City of Opportunities; it’s time to get to work for the citizens and businesses of Newton!

I am grateful that you believe in me to help lead Newton into the future.  Going forward, I invite you to get involved and participate as a Newton advocate – together we can achieve significant accomplishments for the life of our City!

Please know, I will do my best to improve our City and honor your support!

Best regards,

Jerry
